Fight club is an interesting commentary on the drawl and mundane lives of the American businessman. A life in which the narrator of the the story seems to live more than any other. Entrapped by American consumerism and his addiction to ikea. At least until Tyler Durden turns his life around and tries to change not only the narrators but everyone’s perspectives on the world and the way it runs. All in all, Fight club is more than just middle aged men fighting in a basement but a wonderful commentary on American consumerism and the effects of mental illness.
