More combat heavy and linear than RPG, still the story is very well written with all the twists and turns you've come to expect from VtM, characters are well fleshed out, NPCs are interesting and likable. (Though I do wish they did more than stand behind a desk or against a wall.) Overall a good entry into the world of Vampire the Masquerade. They just need to some expanding and tweaking. More side quests, more satisfying conclusions to side quests and endings, (feels a bit rushed) more impact in "relationships" (friends foes or romantic" and a few more customization options would help a great deal. Still, fun, engaging and definitely worth a playthrough or two.

A rare high quality videogame adaptation. I can honestly say this show will appeal to both fans of the games and those who've never played one. There weren't any weak links in this show, the acting, costuming, set design, cinematography, soundtrack, all absolutely on point. Here's hoping for a second season confirmation soon. Give it a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Absolutely loved it, and so did my husband. I find it sad that it isn't more well known. Severely underrated film. This should be on your Halloween watchlist next to Trick 'r Treat and House of 1,000 Corpses. Hoping for a sequel!

Awful. Just awful. Are you ready to see Joel and Ellie in Action again? Forget it. You'll spend a little time with Ellie in an almost tutorial kind of way, some soap opera drama ensues, then you'll spend endless hours boringly fighting bulletsink blobs as Abby. A character no one likes or is interested in in any way. Don't waste your money. I loved the first game, but I'm not even finishing this garbage. Wish I could get a refund.
