Weirdly Satisfying! This journey of an individual who is onboard with his life as it comes even without experiencing it. Things are just happening around him and as long as they do not hinder his daily routine, he's absolutely fine to creatively neglect them. However, a personal loss turns his emotionally numbing lifestyle with seeds of curiosity and wonderment. This movie beautifully captures the discovery of self and the dam of emotions that breaks with its witty and unconventional way of expression. If you get on board with the idea of expression for a few initial minutes, you will absolutely fall in love with the whole journey till the end. A must watch indeed.

A movie that captures human emotions with such grace and aesthetics. It makes and mends you at so many points in the movie with its unpredictable focus on moments in this depicted true story. On the outside, it may seem like a race movie and mind you, pretty darn good one I must say. But when you move past that, it's about how bitter corporates makes our society and the talent that thrives within. Passion can make or break someone, but there comes a point where you have to choose ways that are hard but necessary. This movie is about choices and not about the outcome. But hey, what are choices without outcomes, because every choice has one or more. Screenplay is tremendously satisfying. There are moments when you are just eager to hear what the characters are going to utter and when they do, they fall not and ounce short of your expectations.

Backcountry is film that is slow paced but interesting enough to keep you vested. You follow a couple - the over enthusiastic guy constantly trying to impress his girlfriend and there's his girlfriend who is just there to support his boyfriend as usual in their relationship. The dynamics of their relationship was captured in a brief but near perfect moments. As the story progresses, there are these choices that they made individually that made sense most sense than other survival thrillers. We are kept very close to our protagonists, to keep us the audience curious enough to wait (im)patiently for what's coming next. This is done craftily with closeup shots and defocused frames. The creature in the movie is written keeping it a wild animal and not humanized unlike other movies. The script is very close to a natural conversation but not quite there. However it will not come in way of you enjoying the movie. It will give you chills if you go on hikes and treks. To sum it up, a good survival creature flick to enjoy .

A great drama about characters with the right kind of life-like ingredients to keep one hooked on to not just the story but also the characters. Characters are so well written with almost believable human psychology that each one portrays. Besides the story, technically this movie is a plethora of offerings for any movie buff. Small things that can give just the right kind of support to the story progression beautifully stands out. MUST WATCH!!!

A good movie that will engage you into itself and gives you very less opportunities to get distracted. Never seen the cast before but instantly fell in love with the lead talents in the movie, due to their subtle but kind of layered characters. The movie is paced well and I thoroughly enjoyed it as the story was made as realistic as it can get without any over the top VFX effects. We learn about their world along with the protagonist and which wasn't jarring like some other sci-fi movies can get. Over all a must-watch for movie lovers.
