I have watched a lot of tv shows. I mean like a lot. But this is still my absolute favorite. Even though the show is quite magical and fantastical, at its core, it's a show about hope and family. If you're into that kind of stuff then this is for you! It is a very happy optimistic show, it never really gets that dark so it's good for younger audience members too or really anyone who likes a good happy ending. Great storylines - it can get a bit messy in the later seasons but honestly pretty much any show that goes on for this long will. But the first three seasons are truly spectacular. Great acting as well especially by the main character, Emma Swan played by Jennifer Morrison. It features one of the best television romances I have ever seen. Most shows make relationships toxic or overly dramatic to keep the tension up and it ultimately ruins the relationship but this show does not do that. They instead show an incredible, believable, healthy relationship that is beautiful to watch. Although you have to wait until the second season for it to actually begin! Highly recommend!!
