I read reviews and people with children are upset. But at the same side they have to understand that's how they game has always been. You had to share an island unless you bought another game and console. Did it cause a lot of fighting.. yes. Did my brother and I set traps in front of the door so you would fall in. Yes. I see all these negative reviews. But they haven't been with the game through it's integrations. Does it lack somethings yes, but it will most likely come with updates. It's still so new.
