Pure genius, and pure Kinks. Totally out of step with what was currently the trend in rock music, and that's part of what makes it so great. Saw them live at The Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles, a few months after it's release.

This movie is great entertainment with great performances, and probably my favorite sports movie, even though it's a musical. A true classic.
