I liked the panning of modern day belfast i thought that introduced the film quite nicely n homely but i didnt get why if that was in beautiful coloured imagery then the rest black n white. It was that black n white which literally looks like an ilhone edit because i could almost imagine it all in colour but just lacked it which annoyed me. I think they thought itd look older n rustic but i acc thought it made them look cleaner. The make up needed to be shabbier and the conflict shouldve been a bit more dramatised as i couldnt grasp how bad it was entirely. I didnt enjoy the kiddy scenes when theyd steal sweets it was a time placer. But i woukd rate it a 7/10 purely on how good the history and background of it all was.
