Watched this movie only over the last week end, even though saw this movie winning awards couple of months ago. Didn't get the opportunity earlier as it wasn't screened anywhere in the theatres at my place in US.
My God!! What a movie!!! The director deserves my whole hearted appreciation for gifting such a beautiful masterpiece to us. Taking a societal issue as the pivotal theme to build this drama, he keeps us thoroughly engaged through out. I didn't initially intend to spend more than 30 minutes (as I wanted to kill away sometime before getting to bed after dinner), but ended up watching the entire movie way past midnight.
Aditi is bang on as Aruvi, with her subtle acting style that will make you cry in appreciation.... Any other actor would have been deemed an "overact" by the audience, I feel !!
Every supporting actor (including the veteran Lakshmi Gopalswamy and the new bees) makes an impression on you.
To sum it up, a must watch movie (which is a rarity in tamil these days) that is bound to haunt you for sometime...
