I was disappointed in the movie. The trailer looked delightful—but at the end of the movie, I realized that there was nothing really warm and likable about Mary Poppins. She could do magic and I felt that is what the Banks children loved about her—but they didn’t really love her. I found the characters difficult to truly care long term about.
