I loved the inclusion of historical information and thought it was well written and an interesting story line. I was disappointed that the characters were all married and having affairs with each other though grateful that unnecessary details were not given. Especially for the time period, it would have been more accurate to have a few more people have morality and devotion to one another. I was also disappointed that overall the affairs were included in a flippant matter as though they didn't hurt anyone and "everyone cheats" which is not only inaccurate but gets old to read.
