If your looking for the original paranormal with a camera in the corner of a room 80% of the time, it ain't for you. If you don't like Blair Witch shaky camera stuff, it ain't for you. I wouldn't lump this movie with the original franchise at all. Great filming, The set was great, the effects were well done, the ending was expertly filmed with POV and a steady and progressive story line. Whistle definitely showing off some of the best filming I've seen in a while it was a weak story. Tweak it just a smidge, work on a little bit more complex characters or 'weirder' bits here and there it can be a masterpiece.
