For one this is fasho added into the rotation and worth another watch. Y’all when I say I didn’t pick up my phone the whole time while watching, that’s how glued I was into the lore and idea of this film. Don’t go into this movie with the highest upmost of expectations. I mean for sakes this is the 7th movie what would you expect. To also take into account I haven’t seen any trailers of this film which helped with the unknowingness of a overly reworked franchise. I am a hardcore horror movie fan and watch horror more than any genre. This is easily better than “The Conjuring 2021” and “Halloween Kills” and definitely better than “Malignant”. Don’t listen to the critics reviews, they probably watched this movie in a tesla model s with the lights on. One quick gripe I feel as though if it was “Next of Kin” it would reside better with long term Paranormal Activity fans but hey they needed to catch more eyes. Overall definitely a good watch and added to the rotation, hopefully when the pandemic ends we can all see this in theaters the way it was intended 5/5. - Avery Cyere aka Tyler C. Lacy
