My son and I were searching on my phone (YouTube) for something educational for him to watch when we came across AlphaBlocks. At this time he was about 16 months, so he was just a little guy (he is now almost 4.) He immediately fell in LOVE with this show, he was able to learn his ABC’s in a matter of weeks, he actually learned his ABC’s before he could really talk much. By the time he was 19 months he could do his ABC’s without any hesitation. By the time he was 22 months he could arrange the magnets on the fridge from A to Z, and at 24 months he could actually READ! Today he has no difficulties with reading or reading comprehension. I credit this to two aspects; 1.ALPHABLOCKS the show., and 2. HOOKED ON PHONICS (and, of course, I always read to him and take any available opportunities to challenge him whether that be while reading a book, looking up the definitions of words online, or simply driving in the car with him and reading signs.) I am forever grateful to have found this show, this very well could have changed his life in so many ways. I encourage every parent that i talk to to find this show, and to use Hooked on Phonics with it! It’s truly amazing how fast your child will learn. (*Lastly, i do wish that Alphablocks would come out with more episodes, maybe introducing punctuation and definitions of words. That would be really cool!!)
