Ellie Watts

After reading the preview on Xlibris I knew I had to have this book. Less than 24 hours later I’ve finished it with complete sadness knowing I’ll have to wait for the sequel. The author’s passion for Greek mythology shone throughout the novel. The characters, described to the very bone, are genuinely likeable and successfully portray the idea that there is sadness connecting to being a demigod. The twists within this book are ones that I could not predict myself (and I’m typically very good at knowing roughly where a book is going to end up). I’m left now still unsure of which characters I can trust. I’m eagerly awaiting the release of the next book as I’m sure this series will have a proud place on my bookshelf.
