I’m a long time reader of Mr. King’s. I looked forward to this book as usual. As I was reading it started sounding somewhat familiar. Upon further research I discovered that the story line is from an old Dean Koontz book, Sole Survivor. This, along with some of the political commentary, was disappointing. I have always been entertained by his books and have overlooked his liberal views but then again his stories have been, up to now, original. I can’t say that for this book.
