If you want action packed excitement, this series might not be for you. This is a slow burn, dark, "feelings" emoting series. The quietness of the episodes lends to the emptiness that 99% of humanity is wiped out. Who is still alive. It makes me feel, how would it be to be a survivor in this situation with creepy dog robots that are deadly. I don't know why there are only birds surviving, no wildlife, no dogs or cats etc that you'd find in the cities or the countryside. This is a bit odd. The dog bots seem "cute" but really clunky - wondering why if aliens could travel they have such clunky, noisy critters - but that said, this creepiness of being able to hear them coming is unsettling. I like the dark feeling of this show & not stupid Hollywood flashiness - really just ordinary people trying to survive a disaster. Not sure why the French lady keeps wearing a bright red jacket, I'd be trying to look a lot less conspicuous lol. Loving this show, can't wait to see the next season.
