Blah. Looked forward to it, shocked (bad) at the result. Not an adaptation of a loved anime but a total recreation of it entirely. Not how you do an adaptation. I hoped this would set the stage, it didnt. Fortunately Alita came along and there is hope for future anime live action adaptations.

Loved it, loved it. This is how anime to live action should be adapted!
