The actors did their level best to make what is ultimately a formulaic and unimaginative movie entertaining. Ryan Renolds, Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot we’re given nothing to work with and it shows. Even Dwayne Johnson can’t conceal the fact that he’s not enjoying himself. Everything about this movie seemed like a checklist of what should be in an buddy action movie and let’s throw in a plot twist for good measure. When this movie ended I turned to by husband and said “They were kind of fun to watch but that was not a good movie.”
