Superb. Revelatory. Funny. I'll say this. Men should care for women, as they want to. Because women birth and nurture society, as they want to. The extent to which this is perverted by broken economics, propaganda, yada yada, lazy wealth creation (momey printing) so that people feel the need to cross the gender divide, is the extent to which things will go wrong. We should both, men and women, develop gonads and build rockets, skyscrapers, pyramids, whatever will get us off this planet for a vacation on the moon. Then Mars.

Indepth, offering a riveting look behind the genius and the hardcore, to the storms (warrior-level mental stresses, break ups, family drama, very many moving parts in all those companies, shouting matches never captured on camera) that fuel the incredible business magnate that is Elon Musk. How many people have started 3 billion dollar companies and a trillion dollar company, and they run them all?! Meanwhile, Isaacson punctuates all the psychologically pragmatized seriousness with anecedotes of Musk's quick wit, humor and "maniacal laughter". If you are to reread this book, search out the words laugh, humor, wit, and yes; hardcore, maniacal, urgency. Don't forget to search for the words "next year".

Excellent takes on; - why monopoly is the power behind the success of big business and competition is something to avoid getting caught up in, not something to celebrate and pursue. - why Energy 2.0 will require entrepreneurs to think small (modular nuclear reactors, localized energy solutions, energy-from-waste). - why maverick founders and trend setters are a mixed bag of traits that makes them all-rounders in their niche. - And so much more

That the story arc of the novel was changed a little bit helps to keep it suspenseful and intriguing. The acting was great, Langdon's character was very good as was Katherine Solomon. Love the chemistry. The only reason I gave the extra 3rd star however is because I read the novel and I like Dan Brown's novels. The symbology in the series is not enthralling. The reveals are dry and throw no punches. Alas, even from the book, I don't "dig" (for lack of a better word) noetic science. I dig Trish Dunne's metasystems analysis which can "take the national temperature". I thought Dan Brown would focus more on the people who are behind these strong and immortalized beliefs at least. He did not. He still went with arcane impossible sci-fi. Coz mysterious secrets that bond the Leviathan group together make little sense and I would have much preferred if there was more explanation in the form of flash backs to earlier ages of people like Isaac Newton. Newton's obsession with alchemy is not explored. And to me, this is the true power that is not revealed. The entire battle over the image of God. How the circumpact came to be. Why a secret society defending a mere bible can be so powerful. That is the power not discussed. An intersubjective reality. Not lies of secret powers of controlling bullets to pass out through the skin, self-healing (in seconds) and resonance, etc.

To give a glimpse of how fantastic this book is, I'll say it is similar to Frank Herbert's Dune, with an intelligent exploration of the effects of evolving a species beyond what is currently possible in the real world (call it hyper evolution). Frank Herbert scores with describing how genetically evolved humans (through generations of a women called the Bene Gesserit) function like supercomputers and trained military minds while Adrian Tchaikovsky does know his spiders. I mean, who could've thought one could go from the stone age straight to the space age ! Also, the spiders using ants as computers ( using their brains as we use transistors perhaps) is just awesome. Though he drags the book a little bit, it is otherwise an awesome book all in all.
