The plot holes, coupled with lazy writing. - having half a decade; the story and approach falls short. Naught Dogs reached in the sequel. This wasn't a rushed project. (Not even mentioning the multiple release date changes.) I am very surprised to discover the game of thrones/soap opera result. If this game wins awards it's due to conglomerate payoffs, (imo) and not from true fan reactions.
Addition: Of course the graphics and cut scenes are noteworthy. Any game on a gaming platform, this day and age should have those aspects on point.. (it's the same as saying the "Nintendo generation" [credit to the movie Hackers] thought Mario Brothers was great) let's not hold gaming companies that make more money than movie studios to a standard that is only justified by graphics and cut scenes..
