I don't usually leave reviews and if I do, it's because something is very good or very bad. This series falls into the latter category. I am actually very annoyed with myself for wasting 5/6 hours of my life in the hope that this series would improve as it moved towards it's denouement. It is just utterly crass. Take two fine actors and give them an appallingly sentimental and trite script and this is the result. The main characters are quite insufferable and I found it impossible to like them on any level. There was no emotional connection or sexual connection that I could see between the two main protagonists. The ending was complete schmaltz and frankly it's a complete let down A double let down after watching One Day by David Nicholls on Netflix, which was beautifully done and ticked every box. Health warning: don't waste your valuable time!
