Finally watched Asghar Farhadi's A separation. The movie starts on a slow pace like any other Asghar Farhadi movie and then slowly picks up pace and unstoppably races to the finish breaking you down to tiny little bits. I must say that I never thought that it would have such a profound impact on me. For the past two days I find myself marvelling at the masterpiece appreciating how each and every character is such an integral part to the story. All the characters are so well defined and each carries a story within. My favourite character will always remain the hotheaded Hodjjat marvellously played by Shahab Hosseini( whose transformation in The Salesman is yet another miracle) Thanks Asghar Farhadi for playing on the strings of my soul.
