So i have played The new Horizon 5 title for about a week now rather often and i must say it is better then horizon 4, somewhat. First off the graphics and sound design are spot on and in my eyes totally beautiful, the game is smooth and well optimized even for low end machines with older tech. The Car customization is also seen some much needed improvements however that's where the compliments start to fade. Forza Horizon 5 is a mess that feels quite unpolished, the Multiplayer aspect of the game is horrendous, The Multiplayer connection is highly unstable, the online lobby aspects of the game are highly broken, the Developers Have addressed this issue in the news updates, however its so bad that i do not believe this is fixed until 2023. Looking away from the unusable Multiplayer aspect of the game, the Races are well designed and the new roads are very nice, the physics are also alright, however the tuning aspect is just as broken as it was in horizon 4, needing AWD cars to be competitive in multiplayer. The Smash able XP and Fast travel boards for example are located in locations that are Annoying at best to gather, personally i skipped that game mechanic completely because its more annoying then fun. The Wheel mechanics are not improved in my opinion, the force feedback of my G920 Racing wheel are just stronger but not different, and no there are no settings to address this. I have had the last 3 Horizon titles and this one is what i would recommend the least due to its instability. I had to reset my windows completely to get the game to work, and yes i tried fixes on YouTube for hours on end. DO NOT buy this game thinking it will work the moment its done downloading. At least as of writing this review and the upcoming weeks or even months. To address all the things about the new accolades in horizon 5, this game mechanic is very nice, however there is no real point in it, as of there is no public display of your game progress in the multiplayer game, so if your grinding them, its for you only, making it rather pointless. I would like to make it clear that i would rather enjoy horizon 5 over horizon 4, the overall game is a lot nicer, although the game mechanics are more of a mess then in horizon 4 at this point. The fact that a resetting has been advertised as a recode for racing wheels is very disappointing, I would advise the Forza motorsport series if you are someone who enjoys to play with a racing wheel. All of the above taken in consideration this game only deserved a 3 star rating, due to its instability of all aspects of the game including game mechanics. Its a shame that only the graphics, sound and map size is the only actual improvement over Forza horizon 4, what is sadly a trend in the gaming industry.
