I've read the book at least 4 times because the story itself was so amazing! I told others many times that this would make a good movie, and for the most part it is. And eventhough it was changed in some parts for the sake of time, I understood that. What I didn't like was how they took a Christian movie and secularized it by showing scenes of them having sex. I felt it was uncalled for. It didn't add anything to the movie but caused me & others, especially parents of attending children to cringe. I left feeling violated although the book never made me feel that way. So for that reason, I could only give it a 4 Star.

I thought it was fun to watch how she surprised her parents, sibling and friends with her choice and how he was just what she needed to bring color and excitement to her dull little life.

The best realistic portrayal of Jesus & the New Testament I've ever seen. It really brings His character to life.
