Green Book is the best movie of the year !
When we saw it, the entire theater erupted with spontaneous applause at the end --- because of a pure kind of joy that's been missing out in a lot of theater experiences lately.
I noticed we were in a totally packed house --- with people of every age, color and socio-economic background present -- and many were laughing with each other too --- because it's funny & wrong in the right way & so human & imperfectly perfect, that it just heals. And it's not trying to heal, but it does. ~ Maybe because Peter Farrelly's Dad was an actual Doctor...they all seem to help people.
Anyway - long live the Farrelly heart and spirit.
They make and are made of good American stuff.
My Mom loved this film, and so did my husband, and my daughters.
