I wanted to watch this because I like Rupert Friend. I would have been better off re-watching some episodes of Homeland. Fine actors utterly wasted in the service of a ludicrous plot. The reveals and plot twists are so bad as to be embarrassing.

This latest move by CBS (to replace an experienced newsperson with a football player and move from a desk to a couch) finally led me to stop watching network news altogether. I have reclaimed 30 minutes of my life every morning and really enjoying it.

Heartbreaking and funny at the same time. Absolutely worth watching. This is by the same person who wrote "Here we are", a film released in 2020 about the relationship between an autistic young man and his father. In my opinion, one of the finest films in years.
