Watching Picard takes me back to the first time I watched Star Trek TNG. Sure it's not the same as the other earlier series, but we can't really have the same series and stories over and over again, can we? We have Star Trek TOS, Star Trek TNG, VYG, and DS9 to rewatch, including several movies from the original and TNG shows. I like that I can watch this and feel excited again about Star Trek, about science fiction. I don't really care about negative reviews. I believe those are not true trekkies.
