I’m not usually one who says anything. But this time I couldn’t hold it in. Yet another movie with a predominantly white cast, with two black men playing intelligent roles. One of which dies to save the group, the other of which dies to save your leading white lady. Both get killed and the white woman, who is cast as the “star”, gets to live and take the children, who she didn’t even want, to safety. We are never told where the “creatures” come from or why they came, or why some can look and others kill themselves when they do look. Story line is okay, but definitely missing key factors. Can we have one good movie where someone of color lives until the end...and you know what I mean by this.
