Not for date night. Though an extremely well made movie with a good story, this movie was a terrible choice for me and my husbands night out. The violence, abuse, and dark themes in the movie left us both feeling quite crummy. Worth seeing if you're not looking for a movie that leaves you feeling good. Be prepared to feel sad, depressed, and distraught after seeing this movie.
