I love this franchise, but my goodness, this fourth movie was garbage. I predicted it would be bad, so it actually met my expectations, which were set as low as possible. It didn't even follow anything from the three other movies, such as the character development. For instance, since when has Dracula been so awful to, and disapproving of, Johnny, once he and Mavis were married?! Also, we barely got to see the other characters properly; they were just kinda 'there', even when Mavis brought them along "because it was too dangerous to leave them at the hotel." Like wow, what a horrible and convenient way to have the extra characters come along. You really tried hard there, writers! It was way over-animated, just like every animated sequel these days! And that ending....I don't even have words. I chuckled at like, one or two things, but other than that, it was pretty painful to sit through. Plus, not having Adam Sandler bugged the heck out of me. Shoulda just let the franchise die with the third...even THAT one was pretty bad.
