I watch the 700 Club almost every day. I love the program, I want to start tithing to the 700 Club, but every time they show where my money would go, Is somewhere other than America. The Cambodian children with cleft palates or a different country with children that have heart problems, while my heart does break for them. I think I might prefer to tithe to a local church or in some way where the money is used to help American children and American people in general. I will pray for them children in those horrible country’s, but I think I would prefer my money stay in America, first! If there is any left it would be lovely to help other countries, but I know we have millions of Americans that need health care, food, housing, etc… it appears the money that goes to the 700 Club goes straight to foreign countries . I have to start here at home first! Another thing about the program is, the only American stories on the show is miracles that have happened (I do believe in miracles) and how people get out of debt by tithing. I believe this too. I’m just mentioning what the program shows. Any money sent to the 700 club helps other countries…all the wonderful miracles the program shows us are wonderful, but if it’s an American story it has nothing to do with tithing , all the tithing the program shows us are for surgery in other countries. I guess what I’m saying is I want my money to start here at home. When the 700 club does use the tithing to help other countries, maybe suggest getting the women’s tubes tide . They keep having children in these horrible circumstances. The biggest blessing the 700 Club could give these people are birth control. I can’t imagine bringing a child into that. It’s beyond poverty, they don’t have water on some occasions, but yet still have children! I just can’t understand that! Why would they even have sex with no protection? And why are SO MANY of their children born with cleft palates? This is mind boggling to me. I am a Christian & my heart does break for these children . If 700 club wants to use the money that people send in, in other countries, please use it for permanent birth control. The United States should come first, it’s Americans sending in the money. Prayers for all, in Jesus name I pray!
