It is a very compelling watch and takes one through the entire movie quite effortlessly as the director explores the various nuances of human character and interaction. I would have probably rated the movie 4 or 5 if the last 20 minutes had been a bit different. Why?
Well in my view a film needs to be uplifting or show a positive lesson to the viewer. There is too much despair and sadness in the real world and one cannot add to it in these times by means of the one medium which can generate hope. While most of the movie has very good comic interludes, I was highly dissatisfied by the way the last 20 minutes or so developed. You cannot seemingly shatter the lives of so many characters - most of whom were involved in only minor petty activities arising from circumstances - and some reasonably innocent. Anyway it is still worth viewing the movie.
