This entire movie claims to be in the future from the G4 My Little Pony, but then completely ruins any sort of claim it has to being in the same universe as G4 by making key points in G4 not matter. Are we going to ignore the fact wendigos exist? Are we going to ignore the fact Earth ponies are hinted towards having no magic in G5 when they CLEARLY have magic in G4? There is so much more that makes no sense in this movie. I hate this movie with a passion. If you want claim to be in the same universe as the previous generation, but in the future, then at least keep the key details consistent.
