During the covid lockdown I read the entire series from start to finish. I loved each of the characters and fell more in love with them along the way. Perfectly executed series. My favourite writer of all time. You can’t help but follow and get involved with the things this man writes. The way he sees the world and the theories presented in his writing are amazing. For anyone wanting to get into Stephen king I would start off with this series as a lot of his other books link in with the theme of this series. Roland is my favourite, he still haunts me five stars all round.

As a fan of Stephen king I’m reading his books in order of the dates published. This one was amazing had me captivated from the start. The ending broke my heart, absolutely brilliant.
