SPOILERS!!!!!!!
As a major fan of the franchise, I am actually disappointed in this film. Reading through other reviews I'm confused if I missed the same "fantastic" movie everyone keeps describing. It lacked creativity. I found this film very slow-paced and towards the end very rushed - trying to put everything in a 40-minute time span. When I first saw the cast release I was glad they were bringing back essential characters and ultimately knew they weren't all going to make it out alive. You're bound to lose one or two each installment. WHICH I AM OKAY WITH! BUT they need to die in ways that make sense

Dewey's death I struggled to accept - a man who has survived 4 movies is going to get slaughtered by a high school little girl who was previously shot in the chest 3 or 4 times who apparently has cheetah-like speed able to jump up and stab him before he is able to pull the trigger while pointing the gun directly at her? Where was the killer's super strength 5 minutes prior when she was knocked over by a smaller girl with a broken ankle and stab wound?
Later in the film when Gale is retrieved outside by the killer.... what happened to her gun? You're telling me she couldn't have shot the killer who only had a knife as she got closer?
LASTLY,
Officer Judy's death was laughable.... sirens blasting in the middle of the day was killed completely out in the open and no one saw?? okay...
