I absolutely love The Durrells!!!! I actually think this is one of the best series I have seen on Masterpiece or anywhere else (and I have been watching Masterpiece Theater for decades). What warm endearing characters. I actually jokingly dreamed of moving to Greece after watching this series. The hallmark of a great series/film is whether you think of the characters and there fate long after the last scene. I have no idea how anyone with even a slight sense of humor could rate this series anything but 5 stars.
