This is a fantastic show. It shows the fears the volunteers feel, the stress of not having enough resources to help and the lack of understanding. It also shows that even during major catastrophes people are still experiencing their own individual crises. I felt gripped through the episodes and couldn't wait to see the next. Yeah, at some points it slowed down, but would always pick back up by the end.
Most negative reviews I've seen have been about it not tackling enough big issues. But I think they miss the point, to me, it's about how the big thing impacts the small people in it.
