Honestly, Naruto is probably the best anime I have ever watched. The difference between shonen jump and shippuden is that shonen jump has more then 1 story but the main focus is naruto's friend leaving the village, while shippuden is very interconnected story making many of the episodes connected. The last war is very planned out because we see all the parts of the war. What amazes me is that the story in shonen jump continues in the war when (BLANK person. *DONT WANNA SPOIL) uses the edo tensi.
