Any true DC fans, and/or fans of brilliant acting for that matter, will agree that this movie was excellent. Understanding that this was a stand alone film, not a comparison to Nicholson, or Ledgers Joker, and an origin story of how Arthur Fleck became the Joker through the struggles, pain, and devastation of real world problems really sheds light on how dark the world can truly be. Joaquin Phoenix left you feeling his fight for positivity in a world of evil, until the very last laugh. Marvelous acting, 10/10 in character.
