From the little I've played on the Xbox One version, this game is simply a well put together game. The gameplay mechanics are brilliant, excellent story that is easy to follow along with, audio and visual style are superb - especially the music which heavily creates the atmosphere in the environment you are playing in. General Combat can use a pinch more tweaking, however not a game breaker. The difficulty is clearly inspired by Dead Souls, though it's frustrating components and what seemingly appears to be "cheap deaths" are much appreciated - I mean who wants to blow through a game in a matter of an hour or less? That's the idea of challenging gameplay - something many people complain about. I guess people like to have things put on a silver platter and made easy for them, which in my opinion are people who shouldn't be gaming in the first place. What would those people do if placed in the early 80's? Especially with games like contra, gradius, etc? It's a different world out there for sure, however this game's conventional difficulty brings me back to a period of time when games were not only challenging, but fun to play as well - while keeping me coming back for more.
