Epic. Exhilarating. Mythological. This has made everything that was wrong with the 2017 version right. Beautifully shot, it felt as each scene was a piece of art. The action, was second to none. And each character arc, including the antagonist, gets the attention they deserve. One can only hope they #restorethesnyderverse Also, I think the Flash somehow altered the movie runtime, because that 4 hour movie felt like 2. Maybe that's just how good it was.

I was initially going to give it 4 stars - but that would purely be based on my emotions on how the storyline went. Not because the story was badly written or acted - quite the contrary - it was the best I've seen! It just didn't fit my preconceived narrative that I wanted or expected. Just like life, things don't always go to plan or the way we expect it. A very grounded, gritty and realistic sequel to the first game. Truly captivating and brought emotions to me no game ever has. Fantastic graphics, screenplay and gameplay. I recommend any frequent or seasoned gamer to start off with the hard difficulty level and survivor difficulty for the pro's. Naughty Dog were bold and brave here, but showed again why they are ahead of the rest of the pack in game developing. And one of the main reasons I chose and will stick to PlayStation for all of their future Sony exclusive titles.
