Slow, boring mix of potentially interesting/entertaining story threads with none of them fleshed out enough to make a coherent story or make you care about what happens. The narrative is so choppy and rambling that even Sam Elliot and his amazing voice cannot save it. The only thing that one can conclude is that it was purposely made to be awful, and that there is some artistic point in this? I am also thinking that the positive reviews here filled with their sincere sounding analysis must be written in jest/tongue-in-cheek because no one with the capacity to distinguish things that one might take “seriously” could take this movie seriously.
