It was excruciatingly hard to watch. So much pain and tragedy and grief. All actors excellent. I could relate to Nicole Kidman’s character, acted to perfection. Would rather have Gus back to his mother’s arm than dead. And to Gus’s father…wishing him dead rather than some possible horrors. Mercy’s character flaws. Hilary’s awful mother and father, a terrible childhood. David as a weak man. Great story well told. Cliff hanger hard.

Heart warming. Passionate. Hopeful that a little boy’s faith and growing friendship with a Japanese man can teach others.
