I felt the movie, sets and costumes were lovely to look at from a visual perspective.
I was happy to see Jo strive for what she wanted and not cave into the views of what a woman should be or do at this time in the US. Each sister was blessed with her individual talents and was willing to work to achieve her success, off time setting aside marriage.
I saw the movie with 2 men, thought it was ok, but really a girls' movie. I guess it was too calm for them. Not enough car crashes, falling out of windows, explosions, and fights.
The only part that confused me were the jumps in scenes backwards and forwards. The sisters seemed to stay the same age.
