Bold storytelling but worth it in the end. Makes you want to know more. Hopefully it will continue to stay true with the books so we won't have to deal with another GOT-like PTSD.
If you're wondering if it's worth committing to, I'd say go ahead and finish the first season and see for yourself. Knowing that there's plenty of original content from the books and it doesn't even touch the story where the Witcher video games started, you can have something to look forward every year I guess.
