This really does the Star Trek series and the entire space exploration genre a credit. It's witty and irreverent whilst also expressing the philosophical points that TNG is famous for. It's a bit of a departure from the obvious comedy Seth McFarlane usually does but it shows his versatility as a writer/actor. If you're a sci-fi fan or a seth fan, give it a shot- you won't be disappointed!

Police procedural dramas don't get any better than this. With the possible exception of Ashes to Ashes, the follow up. I won't go into any more detail just do yourself a favour and watch it.

It's a very basic show with few surprises and some hackneyed villains. Anyone hoping for some Sherlock Holmes style detective work will be disappointed. On the positive side, it's very easy to watch and will appeal to a younger demographic (mid-teens) rather than adults, who might find the supernatural themes intriguing and forgive lack of plot detail.

If you're a fan of the comic you won't be disappointed. If you've never read the comic but have a penchant for the weird and darkly comical. You won't be disappointed either.

The writing is terrible but the fights are amazing. It's worth watching just for that. The lead was also in the raid which,if you haven't seen it, is the best martial arts movie ever. He doesn't disappoint in this show either.
