I usually like Sebastian Faulks books but not this one. It never seemed to get going to the stage where any of the characters were likeable. Glad when I had read it.

The Third day is a bit like Lost just with regular foul language. Already i know im not going to care how it ends. Giving up on this, it made my head hurt.

I found it pretentious and the ending made no sense at all to me. I could also have done without quoted paragraphs being displayed in Greek without the English version written underneath.
Enjoyed the first two or three chapters and then it turned into drivel. Life carrying on as normal after 3 brutal murders.

Enjoyed the book but in my opinion something was lost by transferring it to the screen. I thought Riley Keough was good in the part but couldnt sing well enough. Maybe it didnt matter for the wuality of the songs.

I have watched 5 episodes of the first season as like all the characters in the hope I would get used to the main actress but she irritates me more and more. Also, not being American I’m not sure but would someone of her upbringing at that time use the f word so frequently. I have had to give up on it.
