Never read the book, but the film is just horrific! wooden acting meets over the top acting from both leads. Script is nonsensical like a 5 year old had written it, there’s no set up between scenes so it just skips to key points and expects the audience to fill in the blanks the Plot makes no sense, it dragged, all characters have no chemistry, this was a huge struggle to sit through easily one of the worst rom coms in recent years
