Wormwood

Ok ok ok. Listen, as much as I absolutely love Rebecca Sugar and everything she does, this movie just didn't feel like "Steven Universe". It wasn't consistent with the rest of the personality that the show had to offer. That personality is what so many people fell in love with. This new slapstick Looney tunes character simply doesn't fit in. I could see if maybe a rogue gem that still heavily believed in the empire had a hard time accepting changes and went after Steven for it, but spinel just came out of nowhere and suddenly had a convenient back story that kinda felt like it was made last minute. But after all, this movie was focused on peace and love on the planet earth, so all and all, it's a good movie.
