I've watched The Newshour since the Jim Lehrer days. Newshour now reports news that supports its left-wing political bias and largely excludes coverage of other news. It has become PR for Progressive thought. The irony is that exclusion of advertising by corporate sponsors was supposed to result in unbiased news, but the opposite resulted. If The Newshour was unbiased, then roughly half the viewers would be liberal and half would be conservative. But my guess is the vast majority of viewers are liberal. I'd like federal disparate impact rules to apply to news coverage. The Newshour loves diversity in all things except thought and is part of the progressive echo chamber that keeps Americans divided.
